Francis Kofi
Drawn from a variety of ethnic backgrounds to express the messages on the stage, Cleveland Junior High students learn from renowned drummer and dancer Francis Kofi. Through sharing the dance experience, students are effectively made aware not of our differences, but of that which binds us together – an indisputable unity of people immerse in the human experience. Sara Langworthy
East Side Artist Sara Langworthy is working with Bruce Vento students. Students are learning comprehensive perspective about the rich and diverse medium of fiber art, with a special focus on weaving.
Chandara Pen
BGirl Binx-Chandara Pen, Choreographer, Dancer, And Instructor with her love of dance, inspires, educates and builds cross-cultural understanding, giving students at Phalen Lake Elementary the opportunity to showcase their energy and passion.

Kelly Radermacher
To be a good ballet dancer it helps to be flexible. Students learning Plié [plee-AY] meaning bent, or bending. A bending of the knee or knees. This is an exercise to render the joints and muscles soft and pliable and the tendons flexible and elastic, and to develop a sense of balance. Frank Sentwali
Frank Sentwali, spoken word artist works with 6th grade students at Bruce Vento Elementary as well as 6th grade students at John A. Johnson Elementary Fall 2007. Spoken word is a form of literary art or artistic performance in which lyrics, poetry, or stories are spoken rather than sung. Student will develop skills to read and write their own poetry. Teatro del Pueblo
Our partnership with Teatro del Pueblo offers exciting dramatic activities to students at Phalen Lake Elementary Fall 2007. Executive Director, Al Justinano, demonstrates acting as a monster. For more information on future performances check out Teatro del Pueblo.
