Hello gardeners!

First work day will be May 23 from 9am - 12pm.

You are invited to do some guerilla gardening, choose a small section of the garden to weed and/or water, even add plants that we provide. We welcome helpers of all ages!

This can be a one-time event or it can happen throughout the summer. If other days are better for you, we can arrange to meet you at other times. Gardening will continue throughout the summer into early fall on every Wednesday evenings.

Location: 1000 E Wheelock Parkway
When: May 23, 9 AM-12 PM

Every Wednesday evenings, 5:30–7:30 PM

Please contact Mem Lloyd to volunteer or if you have any questions at email: meml01@yahoo.com

We welcome donations, click here to make a donation to help us upkeep the garden. Thank you for your support.

Our next exhibition features Textile artist, Pam Lipe, who creates art with layers of fabric and thread then adds a touch of whimsy, just for fun. While she has sewn most of her life and dabbled in drawing, wearable art and bead weaving, she began to hone her style in creating art quilts after she retired from her career as a Clinical Psychologist in 2015. She was recently honored when one of her art quilts, entitled Voting Line, was presented to the President and First Lady of Costa Rica in a gift exchange when they were visiting Minnesota. Pam uses her own hand-dyed fabrics, as well as commercial fabrics, in her quilts.
