SOLIDARITY STREET GALLERY is a movement. It is an invitation to unite, reflect, and contribute to a shared vision of unity. It is a call to embrace humanity and all connections that define us.
During the three-day weekend of October 10-12, five blocks of Payne Avenue will be transformed into a walkable “Street Gallery,” gathering neighbors, artists, visitors as well as local shop owners and staff into a living tapestry of Saint Paul’s East Side: storefronts, galleries, and businesses become portals to creativity, filling the street with the energy of cultural expression.
About 20 Local Businesses join the festivities, opening their doors to become impromptu exhibition spaces, hosting fine art, inviting dialogue, and fostering unexpected connections between artists and audiences.
The event is free and open to all!

East Side Arts Council presents Going Back to the Circle exhibition featuring artist Mayumi Amada. She has been an Artmobile instructor since 2008 and continues to teach with us every summer.
Amada is an environmental artist whose works has been shown at Minneapolis Institute of Art and White Bear Center for the Arts. She earned her MFA in sculpture at the University of Minnesota.
Her work revolves around the reuse of recycled materials such as plastic bottles, grocery bags, and more. Amada’s work focuses on eternity and the circle of life through the lens of mortality. She also uses water as a sub-theme in her art.
